The Hive Jacker adds leverage to help lift the heavy honey-filled supers to install the triangular bee escape at harvest. It was made by a Canadian company that doesn't do so anymore. If someone wants to replicate the design, see photo below for overview and measurement.

The bees need all the help they can get to survive the winter.  Giving them a little extra of their own food seems to help.

Here we take a look at how some of the hives did after spending the winter with the added honey-and-capping feed trays.
